2012 Audition CAMP Information
When: Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, December 18th Time: Saturday Night: 7:30pm (Check-in/Registration) 8:30pm Sectional Rehearsals Begin - Please eat dinner before you come ! Where: Gateway University Research Park, 5900 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC (directions) Camp Fee: $30 (which includes breakfast and lunch on Sunday) |

Make sure you have completed the following PRIOR to attending the Audition Camp...
(If you have done this already, you DO NOT need to do it again.)
* NOTE: Brass, Pecussion and Guard Auditions ARE NOW ONLINE ! ! !
1. Fill out your information to Join Gold. ---------> * Brass Sign-up | * Percussion Sign-up | * Guard Sign-up
2. If you are interested in the Brass program, make sure you have looked over the Brass Program page and have downloaded the brass exercise packet and looked over the audition process. For specific questions contact the brass staff at brass@carolinagold.org.
* Please bring a horn with you, if possible... especially trumpet players. We are still in the process of procuring trumpets for the 2012 season, so there will be no spare trumpets available for Audition Camp...
3. If you are interested in the Percussion program, make sure you have looked over the Percussion Program page and have purchased and downloaded the percussion exercise packet and looked over the audition process. For specific questions contact the percussion staff at percussion@carolinagold.org. * You will recieve a user id and password within 3 days of completing the purchase process.
4. If you are interested in the Guard program, make sure you have looked over the Guard Program page and have purchased and downloaded the guard exercise packet for the audition process. For specific questions contact the guard staff at guard@carolinagold.org. * You will recieve a user id and password within 3 days of completing the purchase process.
5. Contact your Caption Heads with any questions or concerns regarding the Audition Camp or the 2012 Season.
6. Tell all your friends to come along !
Checklist of things you need to bring to the Audition Camp...
1. $30 for the required Camp Fee. This is required at registration and must be paid in full before you can participate at the camp. Everyone Pays!
2. If you are interested in the Percussion program and are auditioning for the battery, please plan to bring your own drums, stands, and carriers. (This is for the battery section ONLY – contact percussion@carolinagold.org for questions), also bring drum sticks / mallets, practice pads and a three ring binder with your percussion packet in plastic sheet protectors.
3. If you are interested in the Brass program please bring your own mouthpieces, black gloves, black towel, and a three ring binder with your brass packet in plastics sheet protectors.

4. Wear comfortable clothes, including tennis shoes.
6. This is an overnight event, and you will be housed at our rehearsal site, so please bring sleeping gear, shower items and toiletries and a change of clothes !
