Announcing the Charter Year of the Carolina Gold Alumni Association

As an alumni of Carolina Gold, you are invited to join as a 2008 charter member of the Carolina Gold Alumni Association.

The Alumni Association is being established as a community organization made up of former members of the Carolina Gold Competitive Corps, Mini-Corps and parade units. Our purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps by assisting the parent organization, Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps Association, in providing programs and services that will offer the opportunity for practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.

Being a part of this unique group in 2008 will allow you to continue to be a part of Carolina Gold, keep up with other Alumni, be able to enjoy special Alumni Association benefits and support the current programs of Carolina Gold.

Our activities will include:

• Donations to active groups of Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps Association
• Alumni Association Gathering / Picnic at Family Friends
• Gathering during DCA Finals Weekend
• Instructional Clinic for local area middle & high school students (future years)
• Scholarship(s) for marching vets (financial need based in future years)

• Platinum Package + 2 tickets to the 2008 DCA Finals
