Congrats !!!
A long-overdue congrats to Jenny and David Pressley (both'03 Sops) on the birth of their daughter Amelia Jayne (born September 22, 2005). She is quite a beauty, and judging by this photo (left), has mom and dad's sense of humor! Dad reports she loves brass band concerts and had a great time at the 2006 Great American Brass Band Festival. She also loved BLAST and the British Military Band they took her to see. David says he has participated in almost every aspect of Drum Corps, and looks forward to hopefully being a Drum Corps Dad!
Shannon Proctor (Guard Caption '02-'04, Guard '05) will be married to Erik Nystrom on June 16th, 2007 at the North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh. Members of the wedding party include Dwayne Barnes ('02, '03, Brass, '04 Brass, '04-'05 Executive Director, '06 Guard), Dana Harmon ('02 &'04 Brass, '03 &'05 Drum Major, Asst Corps Director '04-'05) and Stacy Lundy ('05 Guard Tech). Following the wedding celebration, the couple will honeymoon in Hawaii.
Daniel Pach (Snare '04, '05, '06) is engaged to Suzanne Cunningham of Summerville, SC. The couple are both musicians (Suzanne is a flutist), and both have careers in the medical field.
The couple's engagement started while on tour during the 2006 season when Daniel dropped to a knee (right) during the line's warm-up with the rest of the line there to cheer him on. The wedding will take place on December 8th, 2007 in Charleston, SC.
Kudos to Chris Kupsco ('01 Snare, and Staff, '02 Perc Caption & Snare, '03 Bass Line) and his wife Amy as they are expecting their first child. The proud daddy-to-be says his SON is due August 11th and has the first pictures of the young man posted on his MySpace page...check it out!
CONGRATS to our friends at Carolina Visual Productions (CVP) as the organization celebrated its 20th Anniversary this past winter season. Many of our Gold Alumni have performed or supported CVP over the years, and many were present to celebrate at a cook-out.
