The Carolina Gold Brass Program is one of the three performing components of the Carolina Gold Drum and Bugle Corps. As the main musical component, the Brass Program is seeking the highest caliber brass musicians possible to participate in one the fastest growing All Age corps in the United States. Potential members must be at least 15 years old, have a great attitude, and be willing to work together with other marching brass enthusiasts to build a strong, cohesive brass line, and cohesive corps unit with a full production show. Members will work with a dedicated and professional staff on fundamental basics of brass playing, including breathing, tone, balance and blend, intonation, phrasing and VOLUME, with particular care given to successfully executing these techniques on the move.
