Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.

The Carolina Gold Percussion Program is dedicated to developing life long excellence through music and performing arts education. The percussion program is for any individual interested in furthering their skills and knowledge in percussion. The percussion program will develop the mental and physical aspects of percussion performance through technique, reading, and musicianship. Emphasis is placed on establishing a positive attitude, leadership skills, and a uniform playing style. Members will have the opportunity to learn in a group setting similar to what they experience in most high school band activities.
