Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.

Brandon coffey - Brass Arranger

Brandon Coffey is currently attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Operations Management through the Bryan School of Business. Brandon attended Mars Hill College his freshman year pursuing a degree in Music Performance and Education. While at Mars Hill he studied under Brian Tinkel (Director of Percussion Studies) and was a member of the Mountain Lion Marching Band for the 2006 season. He participated in Wind Symphonies, Percussion Ensembles, as well as the Marimba Band. Brandon is currently a worship/student leader in Campus Outreach at UNCG where they seek to “glorify God by building laborers on the college campus for the lost world.” Brandon is returning to Carolina Gold after a successful 2009 season as the bass line captain, where he hopes to equip the up-and-coming generation to succeed both on and off the field.
