Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.

Emory Hensley - Tenor TEchnician

Emory Hensley is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Music Education from Mars Hill College. Emory participates in the college's marching band, percussion ensemble, marimba band, and wind ensemble.  Emory has instructed many middle and high school percussion programs throughout Western North Carolina. Emory has also been on staff with the Carolina Gold Drum and Bugle Corps since 2008.

Emory has participated in Drum Corps International as a member of the World Class Finalist Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. Emory has also been a member of Odyssey Percussion Theatre, a Percussion Independent World group in WGI.

Emory is a member of the Percussive Arts Society, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and MENC.
