Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.

Justin Mabry- Percussion Caption Head

Justin Mabry iIs Currently pursuing his undergraduate degrees in Music Education and Percussion Performance from Mars Hill College. Justin participates in the college's marching band, percussion ensemble, marimba band, jazz band, and wind symphony. He teaches private lessons and is a percussion instructor, arranger, and clinician for several schools in North Carolina, Kentucky, and Virginia. He is currently on staff with the Multiperc. Percussion camp as an instructor/clinician.

Justin has participated in Drum Corps International as a member of the Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps in 2004 (Gold Medalist Percussion) and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps in 2005 and 2006. He participated in WGI Indoor Percussion as a member of Odyssey Percussion Theater in 2008.

This will be Justin’s second season with Gold as Percussion Caption Head.
