Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.
Tyler Honeycutt - Battery Coordinator
Tyler Honeycutt is no stranger to the Carolina Gold family. He marched in the tenor line in 2004 and was tenor section leader in 2005. He joined the staff in 2006 as tenor technician and worked as tenor technician again in 2009. Tyler is proud to be back this season as the battery coordinator. Tyler has taught at the elementary, middle school, high school and collegiate levels in and around North Carolina. He has studied under Danny Raymond, Jr., Brian Tinkel, Dr. Tracy Wiggins, Louis Cato, and Derek Johnson. Tyler currently lives in Mars Hill, North Carolina where he is pursuing a degree in K-12 Inclusionary Special and Gifted Education and a minor in Music.
