Daniel Irwin

Hailing from Gamewell, North Carolina, Daniel is very proud of his Carolinian roots, as he is a product of Catawba County Schools.
After graduating from Bandys High School ('17), Daniel would go on to become an alumnus of Appalachian State University (B.M. Music Education, B.M. Music Performance, Certificate in Jazz Studies '23) where he studied under Dr. Drew Leslie and Dr. Joe Brown. He was also a participant in the Drum Corps International Summer Music Games Tour (Seattle Cascades '18, Phantom Regiment '19, '21) earning himself a 3rd place finish in the DCI Performer's showcase, a finalist medal, and the first ever "Fan Favorite" award.
He is excited to finally be taking the world's largest pageantry stage as an instructor, and looks forward to bringing something near and dear to his heart back to North Carolina.
