Andrew Sokolowski

Andrew Sokolowski is music educator from Indian Trail, North Carolina. Before pursuing his Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, he joined the United States Army Reserve as a Bandsman. He later graduated from the US Army School of Music and has been serving with the 208th Army Reserve Band in Concord, North Carolina, since 2015.

In 2021, Andrew embarked on his teaching career specializing in rebuilding music programs following the COVID-19 pandemic, cultivating cultures of excellence within small music programs, and fostering interconnected communities among students, families, and staff.

Currently, Andrew serves as the Director of Bands at Andrew Jackson High School in Kershaw, South Carolina. His performing ensembles include the Bands of AJ Percussion and Wind Ensembles and the Volunteer Regiment Marching Band.
