Brian Vandivier

Brian Vandivier joins the Carolina Gold Board of Directors after participating in the 2025 season alongside his daughter, Alex. A former member of the Queen City Brass Band, Brian is an avid musician who performs in several Tuba Christmas events each year. While the tuba is his primary instrument, he also enjoys playing trumpet, baritone, and valved trombone.
By profession, Brian works as an Information Technology Engineer, specializing in storage and high-performance computing applications. Beyond his professional work, he volunteers with Carolina Gold, supports the Lake Norman Special Olympics, and previously served as President of the Lake Norman High School Band Boosters.
Brian lives with his wife, Laura, their tuba-playing daughter Alex, and their two adopted dogs, Honey and Beau.
