Chris Green

Program Coordinator

 

Chris Green holds a degree in Music Composition and Theater from Gardner-Webb University and has dedicated his career to advancing the performing arts.

​

With decades of experience in non-profit arts leadership, Chris has served as a performer, instructor, designer, program coordinator, arranger, composer, conductor, Development Director, Special Projects Manager, Board member, and Founder. He has also directed two national music conferences and appeared as a guest conductor and performer nationwide.

Chris’s drum corps background is extensive. He marched four seasons with Carolina Crown and performed with multiple all-age corps, including Carolina Gold (Co-Founder), Gulf Coast Sound, and Frontier (Founder). His experience spans both the field and the stage, from theater and opera to recording projects, including arrangements featured on Turtle Creek Chorale’s album Songs of Our Nation.

Beyond performance, Chris has contributed to numerous organizations in teaching and administrative roles, including Blue Stars, Memphis Sound, Forte, Heat Wave, St. Petersburg Opera, Richmond Men’s Chorus, and Pride Bands Alliance.

​

His blend of creative, educational, and organizational experience uniquely positions him to guide and grow Carolina Gold in his new role with the organization as program director.
