Connor McElroy
Front Ensemble Tech​

Born and raised in Mooresville, NC, Connor McElroy is an experienced percussionist and educator with a strong focus on marching percussion. He has performed with several World and Open Class ensembles, including Spirit of Atlanta (DCI, 2021), Matrix, 4th Wall Percussion, Q2 (Atlanta Quest’s Open Class ensemble), Revelation Percussion, and Fusion Percussion.

Connor served as Front Ensemble Caption Head for Carolina Storm Independent during the 2025 season and currently works as a Front Ensemble Technician at Providence High School. He studied percussion at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

Passionate about helping students grow as musicians and individuals, Connor is dedicated to fostering artistic excellence through focused instruction and creative exploration. His commitment to percussion education and composition continues to shape and inspire the next generation of performers.
