Joe Dennis
Battery Tech

Joseph Dennis earned a B.S. in both music education and percussion performance at Towson University.
As an instructor and/or designer, he has worked with numerous high school marching bands earning a Tournament of Bands championship, a Maryland Marching Band Association (MMBA) championship, and two MMBA high percussion awards.
Joe also served three seasons as a percussion instructor for the Towson University Marching Band. In the Drum Corps activity, he marched snare drum at the White Sabres Drum and Bugle Corps in 2017 and was an instructor for the Skyliners Drum and Bugle Corps from 2019-2023, earning a high percussion award in 2019 and serving as the battery coordinator & designer in 2023. Joe served as full-time choir director at Eastern Technical high school from 2019-2023 and finished the 24-25 school year as the band director at Carolina High School after moving to South Carolina.
Joe is excited to join the staff at Carolina Gold.
