Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.

Bob Callicutt – Board of directors - member at large

Bob Calicutt currently works as a Bank Manager at Carolina Bank in High Point and has been employed in banking for 12 years. He joined Carolina Gold as a member of the horn line in 2011. Bob is a former City Councilman from Thomasville. He has also served as a Board member at various non-profit organizations, including: The Davidson County Arts Council, Davidson County Community Action Agency, The High Point Civitans Foundation, and the Ledford High School Band Boosters. Prior to his banking career, Bob worked in public relations and advertising where he designed and coordinated promotional programs for the High Point Enterprise, the Greensboro News and Record, the Prudential Carolinas Realty, the Greensboro Coliseum, and Crescent Ford among others. Callicutt has been awarded eight times for excellence in advertising design and promotion by the North Carolina Press Association. Bob is a former Drum Major from Ledford High School (1984-86), where both his younger brother and his oldest daughter followed and also served in the same position at LHS. Bob was an All-County musician in high school, and has also performed collegiately with the UNCG Concert Band. Callicutt has a degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a degree in Business Administration and Finance from High Point University. Bob lives in High Point with his wife, Beverly, and daughters Aimee and Morgan.
