Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.

Justin Wier – Board of directors - member at large

Justin Wier is currently a third-year student at Elon University School of Law, located in downtown Greensboro, NC. Justin has been involved in the marching arts since 2000, having marched with his high school marching band, the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, the University of North Carolina Marching Tarheels, and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. After graduating from UNC with a BS degree in Chemistry in 2009, Justin chose to attend law school at Elon University. In 2010, he worked with Carolina Gold Drum and Bugle Corps as Co- Visual Caption Head with current drill designer Mike Gillespie. Additionally, Justin has worked with and/or written drill for several North Carolina high school marching bands including Chapel Hill High School, Wakefield High School, Western Guilford High School, Jacksonville High School, and Wheatmore High School.
