Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.
Ken Tealer – Executive Secretary
Ken Tealer has been Involved with the drum corps activity since 1974, when he performed as a member of The Golden Statesmen based in San Diego, CA then in 1976 with The Bleu Readers out of New Orleans LA. Ken has performed with Carolina Gold as a Lead Mellophone since 2009 to present. He attended the University of Southern California, United States Navy 1981 to 1992, and earned an A.A.S. at ECPI Computer Institute in 1994.
Ken is currently a Client/Server Consultant with Fidelity Information Services from 1993 to present. He joined the Carolina Gold Board of Directors in 2010 a member at large and currently filling the position of Executive Secretary.
