Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.

Drew Zellmer - Guard Designer / Guard co-caption head

Originally from Chapel Hill NC, DrewZellmer is currently the Color Guard Co-Caption Head for Carolina Gold Drum and Bugle Corps, which recently received the High Color Guard award in Class A at DCA Finals. Drew has taught various ensembles around North Carolina including Wakefield High School, South Johnston High School, and Cape Fear High School where he is currently the director of the Color Guard/Winter Guard program.

Drew's spinning career began in 2007 when he marched with Carolina Visual Productions. Since then he has performed with several ensembles within the Raleigh area such as Wakefield Independent (2009) and First Flight World (2010 - Present). Drew has also performed with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps in 2007 and 2009.

Drew currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
