Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to promote and foster a general interest and participation in a public drum & bugle corps for the state of North Carolina by providing programs and services that will allow practice and study of the fine art of drum & bugle corps.

Grace began spinning in the color guard at Cary High School in 2000. She graduated high school in 2003 and started teaching various high school guards in North Carolina that same summer. After high school, Grace attended East Carolina University and earned a BA in Anthropology. In the fall of 2003, Grace joined First Flight Winter Guard. She aged out of First Fight in 2007. Between 2004- 2009 Grace instructed the guard for the ECU Marching Pirates. After graduating college in 2007, she returned to Raleigh. In 2008 she began teaching BODYFLOW, a group fitness class that combines Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates. Since 2009, Grace has been the Director of the Color Guard at Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC. Currently, she continues to direct the guard at Panther Creek and in January 2012 Grace will be attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to earn her BA in Dance with K-12 Licensure.
